Max & Benito

illustration

Max & Benito offer fresh Californian style Burritos in the city center of Vienna. Max was a Habsburger who became emperor of Mexico, Benito Juarez was his opponent, a small zapotec who had big ideas for a reformed Mexico. With their different backgrounds they can’t help but hate each other … But their love for burritos unites them! The quirky illustrations in the restaurant, on the website, and on their stationery play with Habsburgian and Mexican cliches. It tells their story and many of their adventures.
